Jonathan Glassner said that the stunt crew were amazed at how Jessica fared on her first day of training. This was the first time she had acted in a US important role since she was previously in films from Australia. Jessica's love for action shown in the film as she demonstrates mixed martial arts and horseback riding skills as well her athletic abilities and weapons. Additionally, she can perform her stunts in a way that portrays a strong female character. Jessica has learned to box, learn muay Thai, and trains at a mixed martial arts gym in Australia. Jake Stormoen came across dogs roaming about the filming set of Season 4 while on set. The pet was part of an entire litter of puppies which were living in the film the set. Jessica took care of two puppies.
